Growing up in Arkansas, Brittany Hervey  discovered her love for makeup and all things beauty. Her mother decided to become a beauty consultant with Mary Kay Cosmetics to help fund her desire to compete in local pageant competitions. She would be her assistant at makeup parties and do her own makeup for competitions. 

 

As a child, Brittany was very active in the arts which included theater, television and modeling campaigns. In 2004, she began pursuing a degree in Broadcast Journalism at the University of Central Arkansas.  While in college, she began spending more time experimenting with make-up and doing makeovers on her sisters and friends. Her work stood out enough for people to notice and begin encouraging her to seek out work with a cosmetic brand to develop her talents.  She secured her first cosmetic job with Lancome cosmetics that same year.

 

After graduation, Brittany relocated to Atlanta to pursue a career in television, as on-air talent, but her journey led her right back to her roots. She was introduced to veteran celebrity makeup artist, Gwynnis Mosby who shared her love for being a makeup artist and talked about her love for teaching. 

 

In 2013, Brittany decided to attend the Gwynnis Mosby Makeup Academy and established a career in the makeup industry. After completing training, she gained lots of experience and found her niche in natural looks, flawless skin and expert male grooming.

 

Some of Brittany’s accomplishments include her work as a key make-up artist for NBA Hall of Famer Kevin Garnett’s Area21, providing makeup for NBATV on-air talent, and Georgia Power’s latest digital campaign. She has a portfolio that includes magazine spreads, television commercials and ad campaigns. She is currently based in the Atlanta area and is ready to meet your beauty or grooming needs.
